A new dimension has been added to my everyday. FITNESS! James and I joined a gym. It is super close to our home so we go six days a week. I feel SO GOOD!!! And the gym has not been redecorated since late 70s/early 80s. Love it!

James and I dress like this to work out:

11 Goals for 2011

Over the next few weeks, I'll be sharing my goals for the coming year. These are mostly creative/personal growth kinda goals. James is making a list too and I'm so excited to have sort of a game plan going into the new year and to have his support! The last two and a half years have been so chock full of pregnancies and babies that it's been hard to find time for much more. But I have to take advantage of the few years I have left of high metabolism and indefatigable verve!

Christmas Spirit Part 2

A week from today I will be setting up my Christmas tree. It it pink! James found it for me at Big Lots. I would have also accepted a white one, but pink is what I really wanted! So happy!

Mockingjay

I got it Sunday and finished it this morning. Frustrating, but ultimately satisfying. I won't say anything more because Mama is reading it now...

Society6!

I'm loving this website! So much new art! Just browsing the front pages (Popular/Discover/New), here are some great things I came across...

Oh, boy, there is a ton more I'd like to show you, but babies are waking up and diapers must be changed...
See ya later!

Christmas Spirit...

I have a list of Christmas movies to watch in the weeks leading up to Christmas. So far the list includes:

Bad Santa

Elf

Christmas Carol

Edward Scissorhands

A Christmas Story

A Charlie Brown Christmas
It's a Wonderful Life

Those are the first ones that popped into my head. What am I leaving out?

Necessity is the Mother of Invention, Yes?

I left my Moby at my folks' house the other day and had to make do with a long winter scarf.

It actually wasn't bad. Kinda comfy.

And it was a LOT EASIER to tie onto my body! That Moby takes some patience! I don't think Ambrose has a preference, so I might use this sometimes when I need a quick fix for a fussy baby.

One Month Old!

As of yesterday, that is. And he went to church for the first time. Mostly, he hung out with me and Beatrice in the nursery. But he sure looked cute. He wore an outfit that was my brother Raleigh's, a bonnet that Justus wore and those blue leather shoes. So cute, but he did NOT want to be photographed in all his finery. No way!

Here's the best I could get:

While the kids and I were at church, James cleaned house! So sweet!

It's been a sweet first month. He is adorable and mild and seems like he's going to be a sensitive little kid. But, oh- what a whirlwind for James and me! We are so super busy all the time these days with kids and classes and responsibility. It seems there's never a moment to just relax and take it all in. I'm afraid we won't even remember these first few months. It'll just be a blur in our memory.

At least we have some pictures...

Fall Fashion... sorta...

This is a look I'm rocking this Fall:

Just to clarify, for those of you who don't know me, that's not me in the picture. I don't look like that.

Ambrose spends much of his day wrapped up in the Moby, nice and snug on my chest. It's not the most fashionable look I've worn, but it is so handy! I feed Bea and play and get chores done- all the while bonding with my newborn!

November

It's already the 2nd of November and I wasted a whole day! Okay, so I was sick yesterday, but it still felt wrong to sit around and do nothing. James actually stayed home to watch the kids so I could rest. And it worked- today I feel just about back to normal!

Today I got something done, though! I tidied the house -which gets out of hand real fast these days. And I purchased yards and yards of lovely fabric for an upcoming project. I am so excited. The fabric is so pretty, I may have a hard time cutting into it!

Oh, by the way- Happy Day of the Dead. Any plans?
