What I Wore :: Dune Edition

This outfit is inspired by Dune: khaki and orange for the sand and sun of the desert planet, blue for the spice melange. Oh, and an awesome prop, huh? (THANK YOU, JOSH!)

If you ever see me wear khaki again, please slap me in the face. It is not to be tolerated. In fact, you can slap me for this time. I deserve it.

  1. Ok, normally I don't comment on the fashion blogs but that is kind of awesome how you found an outfit to mirror Sienkiwiecz's color scheme for the issue. Surely that deserves a reprieve from a slap? And I will find those other issues! Mark my words.

    1. I'm not afraid of a slap from you anyway, after all those times I went out in sweatpants back at Fairview. None of you guys ever slapped me.

  2. Is this a modern or a vintage dress? Either way, I really like it, and the whole reference to Dune is brilliant.

    1. The dress is vintage! As is the belt. The shoes are old ones, I've had them forever. Forgot to put all that in the post :)

  4. Book-inspired fashion is pretty much my new all-time favorite idea. And I love how you pulled it off. And really, no slapping for that khaki. With your hair style and color you look like you're on a safari adventure through the Dune sands. Be careful.
